Terms of Data Use

Last updated: May 2026

By creating an account or submitting picks on the NFL Records Pool (“the Platform”), you agree to the following terms governing how your data is collected, stored, and used.

1

What Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and account credentials. We also collect activity data generated through your use of the Platform — including pick submissions, projection updates, scoring history, and participation in any pool features or minigames.

2

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to operate and improve the Platform. Specifically:

To run the pool.

Your submissions are used to calculate standings, scores, and results in real time.

To improve the preseason model.

Pick submission data — including the projections you submit, how frequently you update them, and how they compare against actual outcomes — may be used in aggregate to improve the accuracy of the Platform's preseason win total model in future seasons. This includes analysis of submission timing, projection variance, and outcome correlation across participants.

To personalize your experience.

Activity data may be used to show you relevant stats, history, and pool insights within the Platform.

To communicate with you.

Your email address may be used to send account notifications, pool updates, and product announcements. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

3

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Aggregated, anonymized data (e.g., pick distributions across all participants) may be published or shared publicly as part of pool-wide statistics or analysis.

We use Supabase for data storage and authentication. Your data is subject to Supabase's data handling practices in addition to these terms.

4

Data Retention

We retain your account data and submission history for the duration of your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us directly.

5

Your Rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address on file for your account.

6

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
